I’ve mentioned Monave before, in my post featuring makeup that beats the summer heat. As I use it more, the more I love it. This could possibly be my HG of mineral foundations! So now I share a review completely dedicated to Monave’s Loose Mineral Foundation.

I”ve tried quite a few mineral foundations from brands including Bare Escentuals, Lumière, Jane Iredale, Everyday Minerals, Tarte, Bella Pierre,  and although they are great products-none really seem to come close to Monave’s. I’ve noticed that at first most “real” mineral foundations look gorgeous. They make your face look perfect and radiant, and you fall in love with what you see, but then a couple hours later they look like a streaky mess. And that’s if they haven’t completely disappeared. Monave doesn’t fall into this MMU category.

Monave delivers that perfect healthy radiance that MMU is known for, with staying power (about 8-10 hrs). The powder has a very creamy texture that provides medium to full buildable coverage. It gives a smooth matte finish, with a healthy glow that really works towards concealing blemishes and scars. Must I also mention, that this has serious oil/shine control that lasts just as long as the foundation itself, without becoming irritating or itchy! And, I love the good-for-your-skin ingredients! These include Kaolin clay, which controls oil, and titanium and zinc oxides, which are anti-inflammatories to the skin! At $19.50, this is a complete steal for a great mineral foundation.

Ingredients: zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, micronized zinc oxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue, mica, kaolin clay, may contain serecite, silica (Yes! No Bismuth Oxychloride)

If you try this out remember this one tip: BUFF the powder! The foundation is the most pigmented, and full coverage mineral foundation that I’ve come across, which means a little goes a long way. With that being said, get a small amount and buff it out so you don’t waste your foundation nor look like your wearing way too much!
